Community Projects

Better Internet X Youths Call for Proposal

The MLC launched the Better Internet x Youths Call-for-Proposal (CFP) on 13 April 2017 to support community initiatives that promote digital literacy. In partnership with corporate partners, the Council hopes to empower youths to initiate projects that will reach out to and benefit their peers and community at large. We are showcasing the winning student-led community initiatives as part of the Better Internet Campaign 2018. Find out how you can support these projects below!

Our Campaign

Join us to be the change!

Safer Internet Day (SID) is all about gathering like-minded people to create a safer, better internet for everyone. Every year, on the second Tuesday of February, the whole world comes together to make the internet a better place. SID kicked off in Europe in 2004, and is celebrated by over 100 countries globally. The Media Literacy Council spearheaded Singapore's participation in 2013 and continues to celebrate SID each year through its Better Internet Campaign.

Visit the global Safer Internet Day website to explore more about campaigns in different countries.
